Babli Bouncer is a Hindi-language comedy film that follows a female bouncer named Babli who moves to Delhi from her village to impress a city boy named Viraj.

Babli Bouncer focuses on the eponymous character, a village girl at heart far away from the modernities of city life. Her life gets more interesting when she falls for Viraj, a guy who has studied in London and has barely been exposed to village life.
Starring Tamannaah Bhatia, Sahil Vaid, Karan Singh Chhabra, Saurabh Shukla, and Saanand Verma, Babli Bouncer follows Babli’s journey as she undergoes a transformation toward becoming a strong-headed and inspiring female bouncer.
Babli Bouncer Story Summary
Asola and Fatehpur Beri are known as the “Bouncer Villages of India” as most residents resort to working as bouncers in nightclubs in New Delhi.
Babli Tanwar (Tamannaah Bhatia) is unlike any other girl in the village and is on the way to becoming a capable bouncer if one judges her by her diet. Although not great in studies, Babli is definitely stronger than most boys in the village.
While Kuku (Sahil Vaid), another guy in the village aspiring to become a bouncer, tries to woo Babli, she grows a liking for her former teacher’s son Viraj.
In a bid to impress Viraj, Babli tells him that she plans to go to Delhi for a job, just like her friend Pinky. When Babli’s parents try to get Babli married, she wards them off with her various antics, inviting her father’s (Saurabh Shukla) sympathy.
With a string of prospects lining up to marry Babli, Kuku gets impatient and takes his parents to meet Babli’s parents.
Eyeing an opportunity to work in Delhi to be near Viraj, Babli manipulates Kuku to get her a job in Delhi. As an opening for a female bouncer opens at the club Kuku works at due to the increased number of unruly women clients, Kuku manages to talk to Babli’s parents and get them to agree to let Babli apply for the job.
Babli, who has been training hard ever since childhood, easily impresses the trainer Bobby and secures a position as a bouncer in the club.
Babli arranges a meeting with Viraj, but Kuku’s constant presence around Babli makes her come up with a plan to get rid of Kuku. With the help of Pinky, Babli makes her father let her move to Delhi as the Village Chief shows concern about Babli being a bad influence on the rest of the girls in the village.
Babli meets Viraj and informs him about her new job. Babli continues to fall for Viraj while Viraj maintains a steady distance from Babli. When Viraj comes to the club with his friends later, he invites Babli to his birthday party.
At the party, Babli gets drunk and confesses her love to Viraj, who ridicules Babli for even thinking that he will fall in love with her being somebody who couldn’t even clear the 10th standard exams.
Disappointed by Viraj’s response, Babli leaves the party. On her way back home, Babli beats up two guys who try to misbehave with her. When the police arrest Babli along with the two guys, Babli’s father comes to Delhi to get her out. Later, he asks her to return to the village. But Babli reminds him of his promise to let her work for a year.
Babli Bouncer Ending Explained
The next day, determined to transform herself, Babli starts preparing for her 10th standard exams and works on improving her communication skills. At her job, she performs equally well as she easily handles Dolly Chaddha – a repeat offender who leaves without paying the bill. She ignores Viraj also when he visits the club.
On friendship day, Babli thanks Kuku for all he has done for her and reveals her intentions behind coming to Delhi. The information disappoints Kuku, but he agrees to forgive Babli in the hope that she will one day consider him for marriage.
When Babli’s parents pay a surprise visit to Babli, she impresses them with her fluent English. She also rescues Viraj as he gets into an argument with the son of a prominent politician. Using her quick wit, Babli eases the tension to help save Viraj from the ire of the politician’s son.
Does Viraj manage to impress Babli?
Thankful for Babli’s help, Viraj calls Babli to fix a meeting, but despite Viraj’s many attempts, Babli refuses to pay heed. Viraj attempts to convince Babli that he loves her. However, Babli makes it clear that it will be impossible for Viraj to accept her the way she is.
Settling the case of Viraj for once and for all, Babli gets back to her duties as a bouncer. One night, she witnesses a girl being abducted from the parking lot of the club by a group of men and decides to chase their car on a stranger’s bike.
Babli confronts the group and requests them to let the girl go, but the men refuse to budge easily. She gets into a fight with the group, beating them up badly before getting hit in the head by one of the abductors. Left on the roadside, an unconscious Babli is taken to the hospital by the police.
When she opens her eyes, Babli is welcomed by her family. During the time Babli was unconscious, her brave fight against the kidnappers had made news, ushering in massive popularity for Babli. The abducted girl was rescued by the police later when they found Babli.
Babli is honored with the ‘Women Bravery Award’. Moreover, she passes her 10th standard exams with flying colors. In the end, with the monetary assistance extended by a businessman whose life Babli had saved by taking him to the hospital, Babli opens a training institute to mentor young girls who aspire to become female bouncers just like their idol – Babli Bouncer.
Babli Bouncer is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
