Brahmastra’s collections on Monday were 16 crores. Of course, considering the enormous collections that the film had accumulated in its first weekend, it seems like the numbers would be closer to the 20 crores mark. In that case, the film would continue to build its case for a 300 Crore Club entry.
However, that number has reached closer to the 15 crores mark instead. So, the 300 crore milestone is now ruled out, and we are looking at a 250-275 crore lifetime. From an absolute numbers perspective, the film has still done exceptionally well to collect such an amount, and that too on the fourth day. Earlier this year, Doctor Strange and Thor’s release from the Marvel franchises fell much more significant on their fourth day as their first-day collection was so immense. The post-pandemic situation seems to be such that many films have collected that amount in their lifetime, with a notable star in the lead.
However, these are all just calculations and predictions. These numbers don’t say much about Brahmastra and its impact. The movie must keep collecting strong and not go through a 10%-15% fall daily till Thursday. As long as that turns out to be the case, this modern mythology will comfortably cross the 200 crores mark before the end of the second weekend. One hundred thirty-eight crores mark has already been crossed, and that too in such a short period.
