Theerppu will feature Prithviraj Sukumaran along with his brother Indrajith Sukumaran, who will share screen space with his brother after a long hiatus.
On Saturday, Friday Film House released the teaser of the upcoming Malayalam-language drama film featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, who was last seen in Kaduva, in the main role.
Murali Gopy, who had written Prithviraj’s directorial debut and widely-successful Lucifer, has written the script for Theerppu. Rathis Ambat, who has collaborated with Murali Gopy for the Dileep-starrer Kammara Sambhavam, will direct the movie.
The film will see Prithviraj share the screen space with his brother Indrajith, along with Isha Talwar, Saiju Kurup, and Hannah Reji Koshy in important roles.
In an interview, Murali Gopy said that the film will be an experimental film and will utilise allegory as a narrative tool.
